The Fish

The lake was created and stocked 30 years ago but wasn’t commercially fished until we opened on 2nd January 2024. So far, we have discovered immaculate Common, Mirror, Crucian and Ghost Carp as well as Roach, Rudd and Bream. The biggest Common Carp so far is 12lb but who knows what else lies beneath? Is there a 30 year old monster in there?

Competition

The angler who catches the largest carp before the end of September 2024 wins a free weekend camping and fishing for two. Photo of the fish and the weight will be required to enter.
